Chairman’s Message 2020

Welcome to the Show!

We have been working very hard in the back ground amidst all the lockdown and uncertainty to keep working on this year’s show, keeping our fingers crossed that we would be allowed to go ahead. We are pleased to announce that this years show is going ahead!

We are delighted this year to welcome lots of new sponsors. We are so very appreciative of all our sponsors old and new. The fact that so many people and businesses have supported us at a time when the world has been at an all time low, is testament to the fantastic community we have around us. We are very, very appreciative of everyone’s support.

The whole show book has been revamped, a few new classes added for people to try. We always welcome feedback on what can be improved. This can be done online on the show website. We work hard to improve the show for you year on year.

This year we were extremely fortunate to be awarded a CBH Grass Roots grant and a Westpac Community Grant. Harvest Road have also sponsored some new gazebos and thanks to the additional funding we have also invested in some tables and chairs, all of which we hope will be useful for many years to come. Thank you to CBH and Westpac Bank for the opportunity to apply for a grant.

The show committee have been amazing as always. Despite restrictions on getting together for committee meetings, they have worked so hard and I am so thankful and grateful for the amazing group of people we have working in the background. New members are always welcome as even if you can’t come to meetings there is still plenty you can help us with.

Thank you also to everyone who has agreed to steward or to judge a section. This is such a rewarding job and so much goes on behind the scenes. Thank you for your time, commitment and support. We are very grateful.

Should you have any time to spare either before the show to help with set up or on the Sunday after the show please let us know as we always need extra help.

Finally I would like to say thank you to you. Without any entries in the show, there is no show, so we hope you love the new show book as much as we do, and we look forward to welcoming you once again to the Moora Show.
